Timothy Edson, PhD


Timothy C. Edson, PhD is a Research Associate in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a Research & Evaluation Scientist at the Division on Addiction, Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. Dr. Edson joined the Division on Addiction in January of 2017. He is currently working on a DraftKings-funded project that assesses online fantasy sports player activity.

Prior to joining the Division, he had previously worked for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security as a research and policy analyst. He received his PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2014.
