The Division offers education and training to a diverse group of learners, including health care providers, policy makers, scientists, and the general public. The Division is currently supporting numerous education projects in collaboration with partners across Massachusetts. We are providing addiction-related training, technical assistance, and consultation services to assist in capacity building and education initiatives. Our current education projects are listed below. We are also working on a variety of research projects.
Current Education Projects
The Division is helping develop a Learning Academy for Massachusetts providers to increase gambling services in Asian-American communities.
The Division is collaborating with St. Francis House to provide in-person educational sessions about gambling and Gambling Disorder to Recovery Support Center staff, peer volunteers, and members.
The Division is partnering with Health Resources in Action to develop and implement the Massachusetts Technical Assistance Center for Problem Gambling Treatment (M-TAC).
