With funding from the National Council on Problem Gambling, we partnered with the Everett Haitian Community Center (EHCC) to develop and disseminate a culturally-tailored problem gambling prevention booklet to Haitian community members across Massachusetts. Through an iterative focus group process with EHCC clientele, we were able to develop a culturally-tailored vignette, receive feedback on the linguistic and cultural translations of the booklet, identify additional resources to include in the booklet, and learn about the best dissemination options. The booklet contains information about gambling, including a vignette of some experiencing a gambling problem, risk factors, signs and symptoms of Gambling Disorder, treatment options, and additional resources.
