Office of Problem Gambling Services

The Commonwealth is a gambling-exposed state. The availability of gambling opportunities is associated with gambling and with gambling-related problems. As a result, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health established this office and website, which contains a variety of free resources.

Massachusetts Council on Compulsive Gambling

The Mass. Council provides education, advocacy and resources to individuals who gamble, their families, caregivers and the community at large.

National Council on Problem Gambling

NCPG is the national advocate for programs and services to assist problem gamblers and their families. It’s vision is to improve health and wellness by reducing the social costs of problem gambling.

International Center for Responsible Gaming

ICRG is the only international organization exclusively devoted to funding research that helps increase understanding of gambling disorder and youth gambling, and finding effective methods of treatment for the disorder.
