Special Series on Education to Promote Lower-risk Drinking, Gambling, and Substance Use

This grant will fund the preparation, dissemination, and evaluation of the month-long Special Series on Education to Promote Lower-risk Drinking, Gambling, and Substance Use. It will be published in The Brief Addiction Science Information Source (The BASIS) – the Division’s addiction research blog. This Special Series will investigate lower-risk guidelines for engaging with alcohol and other potential objects of addiction through summaries of peer-reviewed addiction research and op-eds from clinicians, researchers, policy makers, people in recovery, and other experts. After the completion of this Special Series, we will conduct a reader survey to gauge reader interest, engagement, and satisfaction with The BASIS.
