Tasha Chandler joined the Division on Addiction (Division) in September 2008. At the Division, she served as Head of Research and Academic Operations. In that role, Ms. Chandler was the primary manager of finance and administration. She provided administrative support, operative assistance, and financial management for the Division. Some of her specific tasks included departmental pre- and post-award grants and contracts management, processing invoices and reimbursements, overseeing our internal IRB central management system, administrative liaising between the Division, our funders, and Cambridge Health Allianceís departments, grant record-keeping, event management, and human resource functions. She provided administrative and financial information to guide strategic planning and management, prepared financial outlooks, and made the Division staff aware of funding to direct grant planning. She managed the Divisionís day to day operations, oversaw our IT staff with Dr. Debi LaPlante and supported Dr. Heather Gray with our educational activities, including course administration for our annual Addiction Medicine course and online CME courses.
During July 2015, Ms. Chandler transitioned to Senior Grant and Contract Consultant. As a consultant, she is responsible for managing financial operations, including providing grant support, all pre- and post-award functions, and budgeting and development.
