The webinar—Understanding the Many Faces of Gambling-related Problems: Origins, Identification, & Treatment: A Webinar for Health Providers—is FREE OF CHARGE to participants. Continuing education credit agencies include the American Psychological Association, American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addiction Disorders, National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, National Board for Certified Counselors and the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
This activity is designed to prepare mental health and substance use treatment providers to recognize and manage gambling-related problems in their clients, and includes a discussion of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Practice Guidelines for Treating Gambling-Related Problems: An Evidence-Based Treatment Guide for Clinicians.
